One way down
One-Way Down
"The descent is easy. The survival is not."
Welcome to a brutal, 1-bit retro platformer where every move could be your last. In One-Way Down, you are an explorer seeking the ultimate treasure hidden at the very core of the world. But there's a catch: you only have one life. In this world, death is permanent and your legacy is left behind in the dirt.
The Challenge
Navigate through 12 unforgiving levels as you descend into the unknown. Each screen presents a new set of lethal hazards, crumbling paths, and narrow escapes. The deeper you go, the more the darkness tries to claim you. Do you have the skill to reach the final chest, or will you become just another shadow in the deep?
Mechanics
- Precision Platforming: Classic, tight controls inspired by the golden era of handheld gaming.
- Zipline Hook: Master the grappling hook to cross bottomless pits and scale vertical walls. Aim, shoot, and swing your way through danger.

- Permanent Consequence: One life. No checkpoints. No restarts. Once you fall, the journey ends.
Controls
- WASD / Arrow Keys: Move and Aim.
- Space: Jump.
- Shift: Fire Zipline / Hold to stay attached.
- Enter: Confirm name and start your descent.
